In the last year, the UK has issued around 1500 visas to Emiratis for study. That’s according to UK Visa and Immigration officials at the British Embassy in Abu Dhabi, who say 99% of applications from Emirati students were cleared, with 81% of those being approved within five days. Officials add that the UK offers special conditions for Emirati students, which include fewer supporting documents and a full range of services for faster processing. The news comes following the announcement of the 14th edition of the Education UK Exhibition, which will be at Le Royal Meridien in Abu Dhabi on November 10, and at Dubai World Trade Center on November 11 and 12.
