With a goal of attracting 20 million visitors to Dubai by 2020, it’s essential that hotel projects announced two years ago are going ahead. The UAE is tackling lower oil prices and increasing competition from other markets. Add in currency devaluations in Asia and Europe and there is a need to offer compelling attractions and evolve as destination. ARN spoke to Caroline List from Top Hotels Projects, who is optimistic the emirates will be able to achieve their ambitious targets judging by these regional statistics.
