His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, hosted a reception in New York on Saturday on the sidelines of the 81st United Nations General Assembly.
The event at the UAE Mission was attended by heads of state and government, foreign ministers and senior officials from international organisations.
Sheikh Abdullah highlighted the UAE's support for international cooperation aimed at promoting development and peace.
He also wished delegates success in their discussions during the General Assembly and expressed hope that the meetings would contribute to advancing the UN's development goals.
