The cost of petrol will increase by 9 per cent from next month.
The fuel price committee announced that from April 1, motorists will pay AED 2.23 per litre for Super 98 and AED 2.11 for Special 95.
Diesel will increase by just over 3 per cent to AED 2.49 a litre.
April's prices are the biggest increase so far this year.
