Overseas citizens go to the polls at UAE consulates

Emiratis who live abroad are voting in the Federal National Council Elections, 2015. According to national news agency WAM, UAE citizens can exercise their voting right in 94 polling stations at UAE embassies around the world. It’s the first time the electoral process has been extended overseas. Meanwhile, the National Election Committee has urged voters to confirm their names in the electoral lists, in order to ensure their participation in Election Day on 3rd October 2015
