No more 'long waits' for parking spots in these Dubai areas

It’s now a lot easier to spot vacant parking spots in parts of Dubai’s Al Rigga and World Trade Centre areas.

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has rolled out a smart system, which uses ground sensors and overhead digital cameras to provide real-time information on empty slots.

Motorists can access the details through the RTA app and electronic signboards in these zones.

More than 3,000 parking spaces are covered under the new system.
