Thermal checks and frequent disinfection of all touchpoints are some of the health and safety protocols that will be put in place at the Global Village when it reopens for Season 25 on October 25.

Guests will have to wear face masks and follow the two-metre physical distancing rule.

Restaurants will be required to place tables two metres apart, and disinfect them after every customer.

That's not all. More than 600 hand sanitiser stations will be installed around the park, with wheelchairs, shopping trolleys and other shared items sanitised after every use.

Organisers have also advised elderly visitors and those with chronic conditions to avoid crowded areas during their visit, with restricted seating area set up in front of the main stage.

Meanwhile, people experiencing symptoms such as coughing or fever have been directed not to visit the park.
