Dubai’s plans of building a clean coal power plant are on track. The Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has selected a company to take on the first phase of the 1,200 MW project. DEWA’s chosen bidder, the ACWA Power and Harbin Electric consortium, has been announced by His Excellency Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Managing Director and CEO of the authority.
