Road fatalities down by more than 20% in RAK

New figures released by Ras Al Khaimah Police has showed a sharp drop in fatalities caused by car accidents.

The figure is from the first six months of 2019 in comparison to the same period last year.

It showed that deaths in the emirate are down by around 23 per cent. 

Further studies from this period also show a 28 per cent decrease in injuries caused by car accidents.

Overall, traffic incidents in Ras Al Khaimah are down nearly 10 per cent compared to last year.
