Auction of artworks and watches nets AED39 million in Dubai

The latest auction of modern art and luxury watches in Dubai has fetched nearly AED 39 million. Auction house Christies’ says buyers from 25 countries bid for over 280 items that went under the hammer. 18 new records were set for artworks by regional Middle Eastern artists, while the charity Dubai Cares benefited from the sales of two limited-edition watches worth nearly AED 397,000.
