Abu Dhabi has launched an initiative for people to make financial and in-kind contributions.

‘Together We Are Good’ is a programme under Ma’an, which is the Authority of Social Contributions in the capital, launched in light of the current health and economic circumstances affected by COVID-19.

The authority has provided different text-lines for people to make their financial contributions via SMS messages.

It has also designated a WhatsApp line for residents to send any enquiries or to make in-kind contributions.

Residents and companies will also be able to apply for volunteering opportunities through the newly introduced programme.

Ma’an revealed that the initiative’s proceeds will mainly be directed towards medical support, educational aid and food supplies.
