861 new COVID-19 cases in UAE

The UAE has confirmed 861 new cases of COVID-19 from 240,811 tests in the past 24 hours.

Another 887 people have recovered, taking the overall tally to 981,065.

One patient has died, taking the total number of fatalities to 2,339. 

A total of 1,002,306 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far, out of which 18,902 are currently active.
